Our Packaging Policy

 Recycle And Reuse

We want our handcrafted home accessories to arrive in perfect condition and have chosen our packaging carefully to ensure that it is environmentally friendly, can be recycled and reused, and protects our products.

We have been using heavy duty Enviro-boxes for the past five years for large items, like our hand-woven blankets and baskets. These recyclable cardboard boxes have been developed in association with WRAP, the Waste and Resources Action Programme from FSC approved card sources.  They are stronger than most double wall boxes yet use less materials in the manufacturing process resulting in a 30% saving in CO2 emissions.  

Initially we sent our products out in cotton bags but have found it necessary to protect products from water damage whilst in transit. All our hand-woven textiles and baskets are now dispatched in recycled plastic bags. 

Smaller items, like our ceramics and copper ware, are boxed and wrapped in Kraft brown paper which is 100% recycled and can be reused.

We are always looking for ways to improve our packaging and will continue to make changes when alternatives become available.
