Handcrafted by coppersmiths in Pune, India using traditional techniques

Each tea light holder is handmade in Pune, India, by Tambat artisans (coppersmiths) using a technique, known as Matharkaam, which dates back 400 years.  Tiny indentations are made on the surface of the copper tea lights with specially profiled beating hammers. This creates a mirror-like appearance which reflects and radiates a warm coppery glow.

Produced by INTACH, an NGO, working with Coppre to revive and preserve this ancient copper craft and support the artisans, these seed pod copper tea light holders are individually boxed and make wonderful gifts.  They create a blushing glow indoors or outside.
