Our copper platters are handcrafted by Tambat artisans in India using techniques dating back to the seventeenth century.  This wonderful copper platter is part of an initiative by INTACH, an Indian NGO, to introduce contemporary designs, skills development, and marketing support to the Tambat people.

Copper is a pure metal and oxidises on exposure to the atmosphere. The lacquer coat on the platter slows down the oxidation and helps retain the sheen of the copper platter. In time, your platter may darken and acquire a patina.

• Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use submerge in water, scrub, or use detergent.
• Place greaseproof paper underneath fruit or canapes
