An eye-catching vintage blanket in stunning stripes

A vintage hand-woven blanket in multiple colours.  It’s a medium weight cotton blanket, which was hand-woven in a village in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco for domestic use.  Yarn was scarce and women used whatever they had available to create blankets and rugs for the home. The result is a stunning mix of colourful perfectly, imperfect stripes.

Hand loomed with artisanal stripes, this piece will add interest to a bed, headboard or sofa.

This is a vintage hand woven blanket and there are minor imperfections in the weave and shape and it has small repairs in keeping with its age, but we think this adds to its charm.
