A beautiful vintage Moroccan wedding throw featuring hand-woven creamy white wool and rows of light reflecting sequins fastened with orange, lilac and white cotton loops. Bands of kilim patterns are concealed beneath cotton fringing.

This wedding blanket will add texture, a pop of colour and sparkle to a bed, sofa or headboard. It would be a special wedding gift too.

Traditionally the mother and female relatives of the bride give her a blanket as part of her dowry.  She wears the blanket, tied like a cape around her neck on her wedding day. This vintage throw is in very good condition for its age and retains the original neckties.
