Imane Vintage Striped Blanket

A beautiful vintage striped blanket.  It’s a unique, medium weight, piece which was hand-woven in a village in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco for domestic use.  Women would use whatever yarn was available to create blankets and rugs for the home and this blanket incorporates sections of recycled cotton.  Two or three colours have been combined adding texture to the piece. The mix of colours and perfectly imperfect artisanal stripes will add interest on a bed or over a sofa.  It would also make an interesting headboard.

Please note this is a handcrafted vintage striped blanket and there are minor imperfections and small repairs in keeping with its age, but we think this adds to its charm.
