Handcrafted using pre-Hispanic backstrap loom weaving techniques

Handloomed by women from El Camino De Los Altos, a social enterprise based in Chiapas, working to preserve traditional weaving techniques and improve the lives of the weavers.  Created on a traditional backstrap loom, the top end of the loom is hooked up to a post or a tree and the other end is tied around the woman’s waist.
