These beautiful, handcrafted, copper tea lights in a sunflower design create a warm coppery glow when lit. They are perfect for entertaining indoors or outside.
Each copper tea light is hand beaten using a technique called ‘Matharkaam’ which is a distinguising feature of Tambat copper craft. Rollover the photos to see the tiny indentations on the copper which are made with specially profiled beating hammers and which strengthen and enhance the rich surface by imparting a mirror-like appearance and radiate light inside and out.
These wonderful copper tealight holders are produced by INTACH, an NGO, working in collaboration with the copper artisans of Maharastra, India, to revive and preserve the ancient copper craft by introducing contemporary designs, providing skills development and marketing support.
The tea light holders are available individually or as a set of three.
